More shader work, as well as adding hard-points and reworking the tail hook assembly...

I'm back! Had to out of town for a month of training, and then took the week of the 4th off... but I finally got back to working on this.

Started an attempt at the undercarriage and gear bays... definitely not going to be as good as my F-16/15 projects, but I want at least a rough setup that can be used at a distance.

The rear legs are built, but not rigged, and I have the larger of the bay doors rigged (triple-joint pivot... sheesh...)... so we will see how far I get, with detailing and rigging...

What software are you using? I've never animated any of my models (other than propellers). If you're using Blender, I could use some tips on how to do it.

I use DAZ3D Carrara 8.5 PRO. I've tried using Blender before, but have never been able to get comfortable with it.

Some times all it takes is dumb luck and time... I can not believe that I got this to work...

Sometimes being lucky is better than being good.

Well this project has been one of the more challenging, due to limited reference materials for a lot of the details, but an enjoyable one. While it is not complete, I will be temporarily placing it on hold, until probably the middle of August, as, if everything goes well Monday, I will be in the process of transitioning to a new assignment overseas.

That being said the only thing really left is detailing of the gear bays.

So until then, please enjoy these snapshots.
