So I finally came up with a compromise for the mounting of the Vickers, as well as the ammo trays/ejection ports, based on the available reference material and different models I've been able to look at... however, now I have to go back and rebuild the rear portion of the cowling assembly... and I still need to figure out how the area between the guns is configured...

A little tweaking, and I have the guns "finished", now just have to go back and finish detailing them... also recut the side panels around the exhaust and ejection ports.

What technique did you use to make the laminated propeller texture? I have my own method, but I'm curious what you did.

It's a simple 2-tone mixer, using a line generator. Just mapped it to project the lines correctly, and then set the colors.

When I eventually finish and texture the entire thing, I'll actually map a texture map to it...

Got the sheet metal body panels rebuilt, as well as the front portion of the plywood shell. Also added the back board for the control panel... next the cockpit proper...

Looks good, although the wood textures need work.
