I have a lot more work to do to resolve color issues, thumbnails..etc. so please bare with me. I also just now, got /forumvb working for the OLD vbulletin site if you want to find old threads. I can't move/migrate posts and users - I'm just not phpmyadmin savvy enough. I did find a service to move from the old site to new.. but wanted 1300.00!! to do it, so I did not do that. I think it's better, or the moment to just start new and build going forward.

This is NEW and current software that's getting updates regularly and is opensource. So I expect it will be a viable solution moving forward.

No problem. It did seem to recognize my username but not the password, so I did a "forgot password" and that worked to be able to login.

I also thought a Thank You was in order too.

So when I tested the move of the users from Vbulletin or PHPBB, the vendor moves 25 for free.. then the money comes into play, so only a few names got pulled over. I MAY go into vbulletin and find all the last posters on the site and manually add them into PHPBB, they will have to request new password resets, but they would be in the system.

I can then reassign roles, etc. if they were mods, etc. I will probably do that for anyone who was staff on that old forum. And then for the last few posters to the site before the issues.

Again, the start-from-scratch approach was not my first choice but the software is so old, my hands a really tied. I can't even download the old versions of Vbulletin - they don't even show in my member area on their site.

So ever forward - and MORE Enhancements are coming. I noticed the spam bots are in full swing so I'm already working to mitigate their participation here.

Btw - what does "Target Tange" mean? I'm not getting the reference.

The section called Target Range is misspelled.

Thanks for the tip Dave, my password didn't work either with the new site but forgot password allowed me to login.

Aceman great to have the new site up and running again and thanks !
