this here's the CVN-21, the USN's newest, greates and most expensive new carrier... still on the drawing boards this is the latest iteration of design....

hope you like it... (please note that this ship is derived from the USS Reagan i did a while back...)

Nice Colin!

That deck looks pretty well used for something still on the drawing boards ;)

I think the lighting is a bit too bright - or there is too much specular in the material... seems like some of the detail is getting blown out.

uh yeah... that's my white out scene... i render everything in it.... it basically shows the client (and me) everything.... it's not made to be really sweet.. it's a generice scene.... and yah.. used is my fave way to go...

Such a clean deck.
Designers obviously would've liked to lose the island too.
Something's missing!;)

wow....this thing looks unbelievable....i recently saw a program about the CVN-21 design on Sky....it showed how they were designing it all on computer, also saw one about the Virginia class SSN. Same type of program, how they designed and built it....

keep up the good work

Holy christ, that is *$%#^@ HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The superstructure looks quite different from the Reagan. Is that the USS George H.W. Bush?

God....... it seems that the USA spends waaaay too much on its military compared to healthcare and infastructure.

Which is as yet unnamed. There is a serious effort to lobby congress to have it named USS America.

Looks really good Colin. As the thing hasn't been built yet no-one can pick you up on accuracy issues:) As a render I agree with the other comments that it looks a little whited out, but I understand your reasons. Would be nice to see it with a little less light.

I am planning on using the B. I have since created the an A and D. I working the mapping.

The D is the Last Active Tomcat off the deck. VF-213 "201".
I am working on maps of the A. I have finished VF-21 "Bill the Cat" but planning on others.
