I think the shot of the skyraider landing on the carrier deck is my favourite of all your pics. I love the colourful markings of that particular aircraft as well.......great stuff! :)

Look at all those bombs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great explosions. The detail on the planes and the background is beautiful.

The one with the explosion is probably my least favorite, but the carrier deck landing one is great!!

your models and your cam angles are superb.. though i am not at all into the subject unlike others!!!!
that said, the explosion pic is way off... too much light underneath the plane and the lighting seems to be the same as that for over the water... there should be some very orange bounce on the bottom but it should still be in shadow... the explosion itself doesn't blend very well... it feels painted in or even on...
over all, all of your pics have a bit of a cartoony feel about them... too much contrast and light blast....
sorry if i seem harsh but i think that your work is good enough that you can handle some serious crits...

You have proven yourself at this forum and therefore I have definitely no problems with your crits. Thanks for your point of view! ;)
I consider these renders finished, so I'm not in the need to defend them.
But I have always liked the cartoonish feeling of 3D graphics. You should see my little gallery at http://home.planet.nl/~fran2233/ to see what I mean!
