Thanks for the kind word ;)
Looking good so far!, curious to your amount of detail you are going to put in :)

As Joep said - thanks for the kind words mate:)
Great start - I assume you are going to do every bolt?:D
If you are stuck for reference / details, give me a shout - my Dad has got a copy of the big Lentz Tiger 1 book - I may be able to help.
Looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks for the comments guys, a very small update.
@ Joep - I intend to put as much detail as i possibly can with the reference i have ..and i have a fair bit =) (excluding interior).
@ Lukem - i am indeed trying for every bolt. Speaking on reference i need your help, do you have any drawings/photos of the driver/radio operators hatch optics ?

Are you going to make the turret asymmetrical like the real thing? Probably won't notice the difference if you dont, I forget to with my Tiger:(

I have a load of refference on the interior if you like it ;)

Please forgive the poor quality of these images, but you get the general idea hopefully. If they are too unclear, let me know and I'll try and get better ones. As for the periscopes themselves, I haven't got much at all; I've got a small drawing of the clip arrangement for the periscopes in the cuppola (for a King Tiger - shouldn't be too different, apart from the fact they are sloped).
As for turret shape - the barrel was off-centre. I think if the viewer knows that the turret is assymetric, he/she will spot it. BTW Gareth, has your KT got an assymetric turret?:D

@ Digiartist - i am indeed going to make the turrent asymetrical, how did u forget to do it on your tiger ? =D ...bad blueprints ?
@ joep - Thanks for the offer, i saw your nice cross section tiger a while back i presume thats why u have all the ref ? i doubt ill do the interior tho would take along time =S ... How long did it take you ?
@ Lukem - Thank very much for those pics they will help me alot! .. I also couldn't find any ref on the optics alone i guess ill just have to make an educated guess from exapmles such as the king Tigers optics ect. thanks again for the help ill probaly need it again at some stage =)
ill post an update tomorrow hopefully with something better to show.

Around 100/200 hours with searching refs...

@ Joep - haha interior would be a hassle =/.. and the only way you can truly show it off is through cross section type renders.
@ CamanO - Great i hadnt heard of that series before, im getting the Tiger one now! may help with the optics ive been looking for.

Hitori - the blueprints I used for my Tiger were pretty basic, had I used Hilary Doyle's that whole project would have been much smoother.
Luke - I have no excuse with the King Tiger's turret...laziness :)

Panzer Tracts (http://www.panzertracts.com/) publications are very good. You'll notice that one of the co-authors of the above book is the same as for Panzer Tracts.
You can find some images of the standard panzer periscope here (http://byrden.com/panzers/periscopes/VerticalShort.html)

This model will look great. Can you post a close-up of the engine deck detail?

Looks great Hitori.
A couple of small crits: The vents on the engine deck don't look tall enough and the front periscope looks far too wide.
The mesh looks very clean though...

@ Cobra - thanks you very much for the reference
@ poo - Hopefully, heres the engine deck.
@ Lukem - Thanks for the crits, ill change the periscopes now .. i think the engine deck didnt look tall because of the angle of the last render is it any better in this shot ?

Lukem

Yep - maybe it was the angle. I do like the tow cable by the way:)
