Hello,

Iam working on a F 16 , general modelling is complete. Please take a look.
Before start working on details, I would like to know if there are some modelling problems visible.

looking nice so far...
using HN on that one?, looks like you have some HN errors on the wings in it..also the exhaust looks a bit to small..see here what i mean :)

Yes , started with a half cylinder in HN and then point by point modelling.
The wingproblem resulted from different HN weights, I solved it by lowering hn weight, so that there is no such large weight difference between neighboring points.

In fact the exhaust is a little bit smaller than on the blueprint... but i did not expect, that this slight abberation is noticeable :) wow, good eyes

That's gotta be fake. That's the new pattern used for Marine uniforms.

You can see its fake quite easily - just look at the edges of the wings compared to the the edges of the bombs. Nice work on this one so far, and good to see that you're nailing the shape down better now as well.

I converted the nurbs to polys, mapped and colored the plane a little bit.

I posted the texturing reference. Its hard to get the correct colors.
For now I picked them with photoshop from the ref.

Does someone know where I can find official usaf paint schematics / color reference ?

I'm new around here but i've noticed one thing about Your plane...maybe two:) First is that front edges of wings are a bit to sharp and makes them look very thin. Second is wrong shape of wings (lookin fronm the top view). i mean the place where wings come out from the rest, there should be to steps..two angles...well...i made a quick "paint job" to show what i mean couse my english is'nt good enough:)I hope this will help U understand what i mean...the red line shows it:)

I agree with the other posters on the shape inaccuracies, also the lower rear end of you tail is off too.
