I've looked and looked but can't seem to find a blueprint for the gun I need.

I need a German WWII 105mm Howitzer, not the wheeled or tracked type, but one used in a bunker (in particular used in the Merville bunker). The guns there were (as far as I can gather) based upon a cog type rotating mechanism.

If anyone here knows the location of such a blueprint I would be very grateful

Let me know if you find it, I've been looking for one myself for a long time

It would appear no such blueprint exists.

Does anyone know the location of a photograph of such a gun? Even if only one side, so I can make the rest up?

Walkaround:

And you can ask in a modelling forum for some scans of a modell plan, could prove to be helpful. The pro modellers there also use to have extended reference materials, which are always useful.

Maybe you'll have to combine them. Get the howitzer like Zorin's and search for the correct naval mount. Naval mounts were normaly used in fixed shore implacements.

I don't think that's the one used at the Merville battery. The ones used there were the czech "Skoda 10cm houfnice vz 14/19", known to the Germans as "10cm leFH 14/19 (t)".
It's damn near impossible to find blueprints for, or any other reference for that matter. At least it was when I looked for it, and gave up.

Ah, that is interesting, thank you legal assassin, I was confused as the BBC website named the guns as 105mm Howitzers, where any photo's I found in regard to Merville did look to me to be leFH 18's.

In my search for the actual guns I just accepted the first answer I found, I should have done more indepth research...

I work in the construction industry and we have a saying 'measure twice, cut once', should have applied it here

Actually, I've also heard that the guns should be something else (even in print, I believe), but my own research with help from some others told me that they were the Czech ones. I could be wrong, but it's unlikely.
Let me know if you find any good references (blueprints especially), I was supposed to build a Merville bunker in scale 1:35 but quit as I couldn't find good enough material.
