I'm working on a Mi28 Havoc using specs that one could expect from a next gen computer game...

I'm no helicopter expert since I'm more into airplanes (and cars) and working from rather limited references.

I'm trying to be accurate but with the refs I have it might not be perfect but it has been good fun so far. (about 17 hours of work)

I hope to get quite a lot done on it this weekend,

Thanks giobi!

Started some work on the gun today and cleaned up some polys at the rear (not seen in these shots)

Looks really nice so far Martin. I see your "next gen" modelling helicopter skills are just as good as your car modelling skills. What's your polygon budget going to be? Very nice!

:)

Maybe 15k tris or something like that.. I haven't really set a limit yet.. I think I can remove quite a bit now without too much quality loss.

Thanks :)

I'm rather busy with other things right now so I can't work on it for a while... but when I do pick it up again I will make sure to post any progress here
