View trailer here: http://www.roughageridersclan.com/videos/DCon_PromoFinal_WMV.wmv
Please note that, some of the Models used in our MOD are stock BF2 models. We're phasing out the stock vehicles with our custom ones as they are completed.

- What is Desert Conflict?
Desert Conflict (http://www.desertconflictmod.com/) is a total conversion modification for EA's Battlefield 2 (http://www.ea.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/). Our goals are to bring the fun and game play that was experienced by so many playing Desert Combat (http://www.desertcombat.com/) to the BF2 engine utilizing some of BF2's new enhancements. The first and biggest thing we did to separate our mod from BF2 was a complete overhaul of the artillery system placing the control back into the hands of the players and completely removing the role of the Commander. We also removed all AI guided assets and put the player back in control of where their missiles and rockets go. We added several new game modes as well that give Desert-Conflict many ways to be played.

- Who makes Desert Conflict?
We have a diverse and qualified team of developers from all around the globe that are separated into various departments of expertise. Some of the developers are very multi-talented and assist production in more than one department.

- Desert Conflict accomplishments?
In December 2005, Desert Conflict made available a Capture the Flag Mini-Mod. On March 30th, 2007, we released a full-blown Mod which contains many new vehicles, maps, weapons and code enhancements. Recently we released a new patch to fix some major and minor bugs as well as add some new content and code changes to improve balance and the fun factor.

- Future project?
We currently have two (2) separate teams working for Desert Conflict (http://www.desertconflictmod.com/) which is a BF2 MOD and Project Sawafi (http://www.projectsawafi.com/) which is a Frontline Fuel of War (http://www.kaosstudios.com/) MOD that will be available early next year.

- What are we looking for?
* Full/part time Modelers & Texture artists
* Strong 3Dmax and or Photoshop skills are a must
* Attention to detail
* Communication is done via forums/mIrc/TS/MSN.
* Knowledge on how the BF2 engine operates is a huge PLUS.
