What I thinking the Jolly Rogers should be..

Hello all,

I have enjoyed seeing the Jolly Rogers over the years and watching them go through changes.

Well I have come up with a scheme that I would like them to make.

I call it the "Battle Flag"

I'd definately like to see a bigger/quality res (of at least the tail.)

one suggestion: have the flag "flying" BACK (towards the tail) - I'd guess that's how it looks on the other side, but the overall impact may be better showing it the way people expect to see a flag....

And one SMALLLLLL RANT (Not at the model exactly)

Sorry, guys I did not have time to re-render the Superbug yesterday.
I hope I will have time tonight to "get-her done..."

Why the flag is going back is that is only way I could get it on the tail.
I wanted to keep with the Navy Regs that the Super Hornet has to follow. The only aircraft that does not need to follow the regs is the Showbird and has to be special reasons "i.e. 60th anniversary painting like VFA-102 the Diamondback"

Boeing really made it hard to paint the tails. They put the reflective strip in the middle of the tail and can not be painted; also you can not paint the tail edge of the rudders either.

The Battle flag has Pirate's Saber pulling the flag toward the back of the tail. The flag also battle woren.
