Poor guy really, he could have had a normal life for all that time. Not saying that that is going to make you happy but atleast it doesnt suck as hard as living in the jungle :| Though natives ofcourse still do that.

Mmm, not sure that I'd want my kids to be taught by someone who has spent most of his adult life thinking that he is at war with most of the world.

Mr.Onoda ,sometime we japanese can be see his figure by TV program.
But it very rare.TV media seems interested in his aguricultre bussiness.
Before war of the Pacific oscean,Japanese folk strong believed
Japan empire would ever victory.He is one of then.

Probably in jangle, very easy to get food for living
that reason why keep war status so long.

Today we have rumor that more Japanese soldier still living
in jungle. And he has his family(kid napped Philippino woman):lol:
Perhaps it not true. Because someone who is undoubtedly over 80
years old.
