Hey folks, long time away I know. This is the latest piece I'm working with a completely overly short deadline. This screen frame is my final grading, so I am working on the final animation run, and I hope to add some extra visual jewelry.

Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant. I think you've got the lighting perfect. It has a wonderful deep sea feel to it and the moody lights work very well.

Great render. I always watch any undersea documentrys. You've captured the depths of the ocean really well.

Very nice and moody render indeed :) What was it rendered with? Radiosity?

Very effective lighting - conveys a sense of depth extremely well I think- nice job mate ;)

Very nice. Always loved the underwater sequences.

Do you ever put flotsam in the water for realism, or is that redundant eye-candy for the animation intent?

That is superb (I can see a shipwreck scene coming up!:D).

Would you care to share your set-up?

Sorry for the late reply, and thank-you for your compliments!!

I would love to do so, but my time constraint at the moment may make it prohibitive, so I may have to add it post deadline.

I agree

Very nice and moody render indeed What was it rendered with? Radiosity?
This is rendered in Cinema 4D R10, and there is no radiosity. I did use some low sampled ambient occlusion to help with passive shadows.

It's still changing, but after I finish I can give some explanation.
