My next project.
How many modern tanks without 3D model, know you ?
Sure that i made some of them
My list of nexts models
- Leopard 2E, Spanish Mbt
- K-9 Self-Propeller Howitzer, Korean
- Osorio, Brazilian Mbt project
- Maybe.... the Type-90 , Japaneese Mbt
- I Accept suggestions and references pictures
I'm sure it's been done to death, but I'd like to see a high-poly T-72!
Does it have to be a modern tank Karras?

You can, but the T-72 there are a lot of models of the russians tanks and all derivations, Chineese included. Of Merkawa ,Robert I see , some very good models, and in my collect I have one , medium poly, but....
More suggestions.......
I catch more info about Leopard 2E, a lot of nears shoots:eek:
Of this tank can make it some variants, STRV-122, and Leopard 2A6 HEL....., also of Korean K-1 I can make the K-9 Howitzer.
Many tanks . No ?
Maybe a good M-1 Abrams ?

With this tank , i haven't any reference picture, and nobody give any picture of it, but I'm building without good references, it's a hard work make it.
Today i make the wheels , but i don't know how many little wheels ( return wheels ) have this tank, i put three wheels.
For the suspension I have a very little picture and a scheme draw,
But for the rear of hull........ nothing,. nothing, nothing

Ready for receive the textures maps, mapped finish and adjust base colour finish :)
This modela will have a Indian common camouflage based in three tones, Sand base, Green & Dark Brown in fat lines. In some pictures , in shows , the paint have very shine, I don't like because it's like the hosuebold paint   , I paint it with matte tone without smud and only some dust on . Maybe I put in some Camo net on the gun barrel, like a preservative je,je,je
"Make the war no the love"
Sorry for the delay Robert.
This tank have this polycount:
- 864,758 vertex
- 1,671,787 polys + the future camo net of barrel ( little polys )

Lukem
12-24-2006, 12:20 PM
That looks superb mate - I'd like to see a full resolution render, just to get rid of the 'jaggies' on the edges of the darker camo.
All of the staining etc. - is that all within the colour map?
Karras
12-24-2006, 5:00 PM
Yes friend, all it's in the final map, but other map have the speculars ( dark greys spots difuminated ). It's a little dirty.
Haven't bump maps, except in plastic elements and the exhausts pipes.
I have made two integrations, choose the one that you like
In 3D Gallery of course.
