It was a cracking show. My compliments go to all involved, but I would specifically like to mention the pilots of the Sea Hurricane, Gladiator and Provost for some fantastic flying, allowing many photo opportunities, as well as the BBMF for an excellent Lancaster display.

No, no, I got the Canon 100-400 now :)
The ancient Cosina broke down over a year ago. Last year I shot with the Canon EF-II 100-300 which was terrible...

For the price I paid for it (40 quid extra with the purchase of my camera + standard lens) it was alright. Just it's extremely light, has bad purple fringing, has inaccurate focussing on fast subjects and sometimes even gives nasty lens flares and internal reflections and stuff like that. I wasn't pleased and had to find a replacement...
