WOW! That looks fantastic - should'nt this be on the header? As a matter of interest, what's the poly count on this?
Do you have any plans on putting this into a scene?
Welcome to MM by the way:)

the model looks superb, but your procedural looking textures dont quite fit it, perhaps try to work on the textures ?
please post more angles!

Now THAT is a BIG GIRL and she looks marvelous!
That's an impressing piece of machinery. What was her fate, did she rust away on a forgotten sidetrack or was she destroyed?
I don't recall hearing her beeing used after Sevastopol, and that was in 1941 wasn't it?

Wow, they even had to guillotines on the back !
This looks very good, great texturing as well as far as I can tell. Maybe you should try showing it more side on with a sky background ?

This has only been a test. I needed to shape an environment consistent with the model.

I did a quick search this morning - apparently, Dora was assembled close to Stalingrad, but was quickly dismantled before the 6th army was encircled. I gather it was then taken back to Germany and was broken up at about the same time Schwerer Gustav was found by the Americans, already destroyed. I found this link which some may find interesting; http://www.aopt91.dsl.pipex.com/railgun/Content/Railwayguns/German/Dora%20index.htm
It's a great model Abbadom. I think it would look superb in a rear three quarter view with Stalingrad in the background - but that's just my opinion. Looking forward to seeing what you do with her.
