Steve Bondy converted my Air Tractor model into a paper model like that :)

http://www.members.shaw.ca/stevebondy/PM/Airtractor 1-72.pdf
http://www.members.shaw.ca/stevebondy/PM/Airtractor Assembly.pdf

NB. The original textures were only 256x256 unfortunately.

Hello

Well, I'm a long time lurker of this forum but you put in this post the magic word: "card models" ;)

I'm ended in this forum trying to learn how model 3d planes to design my own cardmodels. Maybe I can put some of my work in a not so far future.
A warning: The work to translate your 3d mesh in a paper model has some difficulties, the paper can't handle complex curves so you have to design the surfaces to be "developed" on a flat surface.

But about cardmodels, a couple of forums in English to look for info are:
http://www.papermodelers.com/
http://www.cardmodels.net/

A couple of online shops:
http://www.papermodelstore.com/
http://www.hobbyfactory.com/

but One wonderful possibility are the digital models. You get a pdf file with the model. You print it in an adequate paper and you can build the model.
If you want to try the hobby for free you can get over the internet a lot of free models, one site with some very nice aircraft models:
http://www.modele-kartonowe.com/
Another one:http://agro-on.com/tppw/

Any question just ask me.

Regards
Luis
