Hi guys,
bit of a change for me...profile work! :)
These were done for Classic publications new Panzerwaffe book. I was given Hilary Louis Doyle's line art and used that as my reference for painting over.

wow, the painting is superb so realistic :D Its a shame you already got one in the header already;)
Hi Gareth!
Nothing more to say than wow! 5* Can you tell us how much time you needed to finish these profiles?
Cheers,

thanks again guys :)
Simon, the profiles take about a day and a half to do each. Having the Line art to start off with helps to cut the production time right down.

Excellent, been a while since I've seen Herr"Wolfie"
About time you posted some of these mate!
Superb work as ever - my favourite has got to be the '251 (I think) - I love the shrubbery on it, the weathering, etc. I wouldn't mind having a go at one in 3D - that or the 234....
Do you mind me asking? What format did Hilary Doyle's line work come in? Just out of interest you understand...
Oh, yes - 5*.

heh Luke, Its a 232 I believe.
I got Hilary's drawings as photocopies from the publisher and then just scanned those in and got to work :)
Okay, so I was only 19 out:D
Thanks for the information mate.

Please don't answer that. You'll just frustrate most of us. ;)

thanks JP
gamary.....I was really pushing myself to get these profiles done for deadlines, and believe me I would have happily taken longer to do them because my eyes were ready to fall out of their sockets after each one.
The second volume has been a lot better and I've been able to spread the time out a bit more. :)

Great job:salute:.
I always wonder myself about how do you "profile-makers" starts to work. From pictures, plains or what?

Thanks Panaristi,
Adelscott, I use line drawings as my basis for my profiles, then just paint over them
Excellent paintjob, and good presentation of the structure of the vehicles (say isn't that Luke's little baby there to the left?)
Is it Photoshop or brush media?

Similar - mine's a Male version with 2 6 pounder guns, Digiartist's is a Female with 2 more machine guns. Same mark number though:)
