log-in options

Hi crew,

I often find that I get distracted by a post with a hyperlink, I then see something on the site that is linked too and when I come back to mm, I'm often logged out. When I reenter off course all threads/posts that were new but not seen by me before are now shown as seen. Is there a way to keep myself logged in during these distracting moments on other sites?? I can't find anything on the user CP...

If you're having trouble staying logged in and you have the remember me option ticked, try clearing out your cookies for MM and logging in again (with remember me ticked)... it may be that you have some cookies from the previous version of the site (ie pre-crash) that are interfering and causing the problem.

or alternatively.. just leave the MM window open... dedicate a put JUST for that ... that's what i've done..... :D

oh yeah.. and use right click to open the new windows... doh!!!

It happens with a MM window open, I always either right click or mostly the forumsoftware starts a new window. Am at work now, and just found out that they do not allow me to delete the cookies, so I guess I have to live with it...
