Joined hoping that some 3D smarts would rub off on me, but wanted to show something of my 2D work. This is the latest piece that I've finished; line drawing done in CorelDraw vectors, painting and print composition done in Photoshop CS2. Correcting poor plans and adding all the stencils and rivets took a long time.

That is a excellent profile Don. I know how much work you put into researching this one to make it accurate compared to all the inaccurate drawings out there.
Your profile skills will come in extremely handy too when it comes to time to texturing 3D aircraft (except you have to do all views).

Hi Wiek, thanks for the comment, pretty simple stuff compared to your Sabre pieces, I'm afraid, but I love the Sabre and had a lot of fun doing it.

Thanks Kev. I guess that I really should give UV Mapping that Nieuport a shot  .

Hi Ronnie, Thanks. There is no ready made font for the buzz number. North American used a very distinctive font on the Sabres that they evidently came up with themselves. I started out with Amarillo, rasterized it and modified it to match in PS CS2. Do you need that font for an image?

Thanks, I think that a pilot really livens up a profile, sometimes I get a little carried away though :D
