Very nice work, like the look of these old cars from the 30's and 40's.

Very good looking cab.
One of those used to carry the mail on the Birdsville Track. They did a restoration a couple of years back.

Cool work which was the opel with the opposed engine and the low hood? I am just thinking aloud.

I love the attention to detail, smaller details on large objects bring out a level of realism, well to me anyway. Once textured this could be a very interesting piece, keep up the excellent work.

Those bonnet clips are so sweet. You can feel them in your hands.

great work man

one thing though. i keep having the feeling the tires seem too flat on the running part, and the edge of the tire should be a bit more rounded.

like i said, excellent work man!!

I've corrected edge of the tire but on this renders it can't be seen cause it's to far away.

beautiful detail! Just the little touches like the indentations on the number plate where the screws are is really impressive.

For such an amazing job, it's sort of anticlimactic that this is....a truck.

Superb detail - what's going on the back of the chassis?

Great work!

Ah right. Thanks for that!

But wouldn't it be partially covered by canvas?

Lovely workand very nice detailing!
Always great to see these old trucks spring to life. Just one small thing that occured to me, look at Andyf's first attachement how narrow the front tires are and your pattern seems to be too complicated for 1940's. The tire patterns then were often just single paralell lines or zigzag lines etc...
