Help is needed with photos of He115 and He59, Cr42, Fw200 cockpits/internal structure/Pilots notes.

Re this request at simHQ for information for modelling aircraft for the Storm of War: Battle of Britain simulation (a work in progress). Any help is greatly appreciated.

......This time, I need anything, you can get for:

1. He-59C-2
2. He-115B-1

Also, if you will come across something interesting for Fw-200C-1, or CR-42, we may use it too, but that's less important than the pair above.

We are mostly interested in cockpit areas and internal structures/mechanisms of this aircraft, as well, as their engines.....

That's a toughy, but I did find a youtube video on the He 59C

I found a great online book - Encyclopedia of WWII Weapons

http://www.scribd.com/doc/526633/Encyclopedia-Of-WWII-Weapons?page=377

Look at page 337 for the He 59 and other pages for the others.

Some shots of the profile views of a version He 59B-2

Hi,

You will find some nice internal shots of the He 115 - specifically the nose area - in Luftwaffe im Focus, Nr. 12. In addition I do have a single photo of the observer's position (internal) in the He 59 showing details of the sighting equipment and perhaps one or two of internal structures exposedx during combat (thinking here, ribbing etc)

If you are interested in the later, or cant get scans of the former, let me know off-board and I will get them organised for you.

If you buy the He115 books from FlugArchiv you'll get printed copies of the original manuals in hardback with tons of B/W photos and explainations to all kinds of functions, very good and informative. There are three books in a set (at a very fair price about €100). Recommended
