Terragen 2

Just had a look at Terragens website they have started to post gallery images of the new Terragen 2. Looks really promising for creating 3D enviroments for our Military Meshes.

Could be particularily useful for aviation and ship modellers.

Not clear on when it will be released but I'm looking forward to giving it a try.

Looks good. Good images.. But I will stick to vue 5 and go to vue 6 when it's
released.. Terragen 2 takes to long to come out.

I'm looking forward to creating some nice oceans and pacific islands with it for some of my Japanese aircraft.

Could also be really good for creating enviroments for animation purposes too.

you can do them with Terragen 1 pretty well :D

Yep, but I don't like the clouds in terragen 1, they look too cgish.

The free TG1 download version had problems for me whenever I set the camera elevation too high and wanted to look down. Kept seeing the ends of my world and got a really strange horizon. Never could figure it out...it is probably a user error but it could be a feature that is enabled in the full payed version only.

Nothing you couldn't do already in LW with OGO_taiki. Shame it takes ages to render.
