Strange front page behaviour (logged in but page thinks different)

Nothing serious, just a heads-up in case anyone encounters the same phenomenon.

When I was trying to login a minute ago the front page always returned me to the public (logged out) version but once I clicked on the forum link I was logged in.
OS: XP Pro x64 Ed SP2
Browser: Firefox 3.0.5 (browser cache was disabled)

Some kind of server-side caching problem?
For example the forum index hasn´t been refreshed for more than 20 minutes either.

If you come to the forums via a bookmark, make sure it is showing the full url (ie www.military-meshes.com, and not just military-meshes.com, as that will log you in to the shortened version only - it is a limitation of cookies, unfortunately)

Any idea why the forum index still shows Helmets, oxygen masks and...

All other sections seem to be updated just fine.
