another update, lots more detail
now I need to model some chains, does anyone have any good tricks for making this less painful?

nice progress on the model. Do you have good references? PM me if you need mine (made a 88mm as well). i see some parts of the model are not really correct. but overall it looks really nice.
will you texture it?

working from a combination of walk around photos, trojca's drawings and some artistic license
which parts are not looking right?
as for the texture, not really my strong area, but very likely will give it a go

Nice job, I can't see any areas where you need to up the polys so pretty efficient at 55k.
