Someone have got tested or bought a licence of Lw 9....and what do you think about..????:eek:

Not tested myself, but a buddy of mine was really happy about the new shader tree that they added, kinda close to what modo has.

Few years ago life was easy: Max was too expensive, Maja was too expensive, Lightwave was too expensive, XSI was toooooooooo expensive, Modo did not existed yet....

And now we have many good apps for not killing price... what to chose?;)


I've not seen new LW yet, but it was always very good software.

Ture, there are so many packages these days. In the end, I guess there is no real good or bad, it's more about what you're comfortable with, how you use the tools and how much you can afford.

Got mines yeasterday and the rendering time is so much faster now! Great enhancements. I'm redoing the V-22 using the new stuff.
