"FLYBOYS" Movie about WWI Pilots

This is a link to apple trailers about a WWI movie called "Flyboys" inspired by the Americans who volunteered to fly with the French in WWI. I'd say it's about time a good fighter pilot movie to come along and it's and the effects looks pretty awsome,...let's hope the movie is as good as the trailer and obviously much of the work done on this site is easily as good, if not better! Hasn't been a good WWI flying movie since The Blue Max and Aces High, looking forward to seeing it.

Well, I was quite enthusiastic till I saw the trailer : it seems to much emphasis is put on CGI effects vs real flying and the storyline looks like the Pearl Harbor movie. Not really surprising considering the producers are the ones of Pearl Harbor and Independence Day. Cue : the Americans won WWI ;)
We'll see but I'm a bit sceptic as to the quality of this one.

Just saw it.
Looks nice, specially the nice FX, i loved the Zeppelin scene, but why they are only Fokker Dr1s? and all in red? :rolleyes:
Could be nice, or WWI Pearl Harbour version, cheesy love story with some good FX on it... time will tell :\
