The ebay ones are copies of the planes from the Scale Aircraft Drawings book ISBN 0-911296-02-X The book cold be picked up for a lot less then the collection of planes on the site.
I hate it when people try to profit from others work. These should be still under copyright.

Mossie you're making assumptions. The drawings are all properly licensed and fees on each sale paid. I am familiar with the book you refer to and the last time I saw one it had a price tag of USD 49.00 on it. On the issue profiting from other people's work, this site (milmesh) and countless others like it has links pointing to free downloadable plans from books. I'm sure it was never the intention of the publishers of these books to have the contents made free and no fees or royalites being paid to the artists. Yet each free donwload and use of the download for model making or whatever represents a loss to the originating artist. I for one never make use of anything I have not paid for and I am therefore guessing that you must be as principled as I am.

And as you know Peter we as moderators do everything to delete those kind of pointers as fast as possible. But members do need to help and push the "report" button too, because we do not know all the materials and their respected artists.

In any event, I have that book and those drawings are not the same ones on the ebay site. William Wylam did some stirling work and it's great to have so many of his drawings collected in two volumes, but his accuracy sometimes leaves a little to be desired. The resources available today are far greater than those available to him at the time.
