Here is the first of a serie of pictures dedicated to the special color schemes of the Belgian F-16.

In 1991, to celebrate his 40th anniversary, the 31 SQN , based at Kleine Brogel, made this beautiful "Tiger" Falcon.

Great model and textures, but I feel it needs some post editing. Somehow it doesn't sit well in the scene and has this "3D plane on a photo background" look to it. Perhaps what it's missing is some subtle raytraced reflections. I know these machines are nearly matt but there would still be a hint of soft fresnel reflections going on. Faking it in post with some light wrap may do the trick as well.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the comments, and thanks for the tip, I will try it.
There is already 15 % of Fresnel reflection on it but maybe it's not enough.

I have updated my picture in the first post.
(i know how to do a lightwrap now ;) )

I let the previous one in attachement.

The updated pic looks much better. Nice work.
It's that learning and improving results that keeps me into CGI and all its off shoots.

You had me confused for a second by swapping the images :D

Yes, that does look a lot better! Nice one!
It nicely matches the hazy background now and feels more part of the scene. Perhaps you overdid it a little bit on the tailfin (closer to camera) and fuel tank (looks washed out), but that's nitpicking :)
