PT-22 Ryan. Just visited the Chino Planes of Fame airshow last month and captured this beauty with the camera. I've always liked the bare metal on this aircraft. So I had to take the photo further and push the pixels to get it over to a painterly feel. Using Topaz Adjust and Photoshop.

Very nice,it looks like an HDR pic.

Yes, HDR is what it looks like, though I don't know if it technically is real HDR or just made to be that way. Topaz Adjust was used to get the effect. Took some doing but I'm pleased with the effect.

I had taken pictures of this plane at different angles and slightly different camera settings. And believe it or not, that's just a point and click camera, nothing special.

I threw the other photos of the Ryan through the Topaz Adjust plugin and didn't come to the same outcome of this one.

Then I just kept procedurally tuning the sliders until I got this, what you see.

I think it came out awesome, but again, every photo is different and requires a different routine through Topaz.
