Hi all :) long time no see. Sorry i haven't taken the time to registar again after the site went down few months ago :err: I would like to show you the drawing i'm working on right now.
It's of Hub zemke, the Co. of the 56th fighter group in the ETO
This was the 1st group to revieve the p-47 thunderbolt, and after the war, the 56th destroyed more aircraft than any other group in the ETO ;)
It is done in charcoal on 100 lb white acid-free bristol paper with a vellum surface ;)
The plane depicted is one of his "more famous" ones. Dubbed "Moy Tovarish" russian for "my friend"
