Very nice!! If you do the 3 tone, please make it '43 scheme with red border on the US markings.... they look sooo sweet. I think so anyway :)

One small suggestion... perhaps add a 1 or 2 pixel median filter to the highlight on the rear fuselage. It looks a bit too jagged now :)
And maybe darken the wing a little little bit...
And yes it's nitpicking, as there's very little to crit on your profiles!
