These might help:
Halifax cockpit view (http://www.ww2aircraft.net/forum/album/color-photos/p7141-handley-page-halifax-cockpit-view-from-passage-.html)
Halifax Bombaimer's Station (http://www.ww2aircraft.net/forum/album/color-photos/p7146-handley-page-halifaxbomb-aimers-position-from-navigators-desk.html)
For the gauge and panel views, I suggest hunting down a Pilot's Guide...
Halifax III & VII Pilot's Guide (http://cgi.ebay.com/Pilots-Notes-Halifax-III-IV-Reproduction-RAF-/380226710112?pt=Non_Fiction&hash=item5887472a60).
I didn't see any entries on ebay specifically for the II model, but even if you can't find any, it's better than nothing. At least you could then limit your effort to learning what ways (if any) the instrumentation varies between the two marks. Or.... research another bomber that used the same engines, and see if you can find what gauges it used for the engines.
that's all MKIII stuff which i have allready, including the pilot notes :)
However i have nothing on the MKII version with the merlin engines, i'm guessing that most, if not all, the engineer's station would be different from the MKIII which used the birstol herc engines. However i cant find any info about it anywhere! :(
