Modeling all those little dents there was probably somewhat insane, but here we go :D

It's been a while! I finally found some time to work on this beauty again.

I'm making a lowpoly version and transfer normal maps from the highpoly version. This is the first time i'm baking normal maps so please go easy on me :D

The parts below have 1400 tris. The whole lowpoly model has 3400 tris.

I finished the normal map and started with some basic texturing.

For now Im using 2K maps which i might scale down to 1K later. What would you guys consider reasonable for a model of this size (3500 tris)?

Please let me know what you think!

It really depends what you're going to use it for. A game?

It's not for an actual game but merely an personal exercise in lowpoly modeling/texturing. So, suppose it's for a game, would you go with 2K or 1K?

Thank you!

Still not sure what kind of camouflage I'm going to use. I'll probably do several though. Suggestions?
