Hello guys!

For this is my first post in "Military Meshes" I'd like to introduce myself!

My name is Hansjoerg ( from Germany) and I'm found the way to meshes in constructing RC Warbirds ( built about 50 yet ( constructed about 100))

Here is the latest model I did - I built this in peanutscale ~13" wingspan...

OK it is modelled sereral times by more advanced artists than I am but I like this bird very much!!

If you are interested in a flying video....;)

Here is a QTVR:

Welcome and very nice rhino work. Looks very good but the blends on the 262 around engine/wing and fuselage/wing need to be added to make it look more like the real thing. Camouflage colors also look a little off....worth checking the discussion in Jamies Red 13 thread for some more info about late war german camouflage.

The mesh on your wing and nacelles could do with more density as your getting some noticable stepping around the edges.

Hope to see this one developed further.

@ Kevjon: Thanks for that hint - ( the origin model was a bit simplified to make it manufacturable in peanutscale ( so I didt't much of the detailwork
- seen that video - the RC is about 18 to 19 Gram AUW) - And for I'm just a beginner from the scratch with illustrational artwork ( use of C4D) ( this is rather the first bird with some kind of painted mapping ( no simple Rhino Phong or Gouraud) I 'm not able to competite with Jamies perfect model!!! ( and I don't think that it is possible at that time!!! -perhaps next plane !!!

Bye Hansjoerg

P.S.: - I just have to find my way---- :) ( the inner structure of the Nacells would not be a problem) - but I see this as a principle first trial what is possible with a low cost C4D version I bought as a special offer from Maxon ( and which is laying on my harddisk unused for 1.5 years now :(
