Hallo to all.
Actually i am modelling the Fiat G 50, and i have found a little difficoult to build the wing tip.
I am following this tutorial, is for G max but is ok for Max too
http://www.airexotica.com/downloads/gmaxwingtutorial.pdf

Can someone suggest another way?
I am experimenting also other ways n my own.

My wing is extruded from the fusolage after shapemerged

Thanks for the advices guys!

Stefano

I build the wings from 12 sided cylinders and then pull the 3 edges of the leading edge (1) around the tip until it meets the 3 edges at the trailing edges of the wing. The vertices are then scaled to get the taper required when looking at wingtip end on.

I then infill by extruding wing edges (2) until it meets the new wing tip edges.

I find this technique works pretty well on all aircraft I have done. You may have to vary it slightly for some wingtips but the principal is there anyway.

Hope this rough drawing explains.

Thanks Kevjon and Skyraider for the suggestions!
Probably i have started n the hardest way to build the wing ( extruding from the fusolage).
But i am still in time to try the way Kev has told and follow the tips of Skyraider.
I will try as soon i have a little time to study the right way...

Thanks so much!
