This is the result of about an hours tinkering on this machine :) If you have any good walkaround pictures of RNLAF NF-5A's let me know :)

Progress!

Added:

1. Panellines are finished largely.
2. The wings and Tiptanks.
3. The Various anti collision and strobe lights.
4. The Chaff and Flare ejector on the rear fuselage.
5. The airscoop which I believe is for cooling the engines on the rear fuselage.
6. I opened up the auxilary airintake doors.
7. I added some detail to the plating on the exhaust.

Interested to hear what you guys think!

Good start mate!
Tiptank looks a bit weird though. I think it's because the dark shading and the highlight are uniform, making it look like the cross section diametre is uniform as well. Basically on the thicker parts (wider diametre) the highlight should be lowered a bit (in 2D: increase the distance from the edge). I hope this makes some sense :)

Yeah I know it still needs some work. I need good pictures of the tank in close up so I can do the detail bits and adjust the highlights etc. to that :)

Redid a lot of the shading and added a camouflage pattern :)

Well I've been hard at work weathering this bird and adding various details like the guns :) Also I have been adding the various fasteners! I am trying something new, curious how you guys like it.

Hmm
Personaly, I don't think the vertical elements work well. Works best when there's a visable origin, like a rivet or screw head.

your tip tank looks strange, but it's been a while since i worked with NF-5's so, i could be wrong.
