superb! Maybe the markings need to come down in saturation a tiny bit, but a lovely render all the same:D

Top notch stuff, well done ! Is it supposed to have these bigass rockets on the wingtips and not sidewinders ?

Very nice mate!
I agree that the markings look a bit too harsh, and the pilot/cockpit looks a bit dark/undetailed, but otherwise great image!

Not quite sure if I understand the title :) I was expecting a looping...

Is it supposed to have these bigass rockets on the wingtips and not sidewinders ?Those missiles are AIM-120 AMRAAM (http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/missile/aim-120.htm)s, part of the Mid-Life Update. Note the Advanced IFF antennas on the nose, identifying it as an MLU machine.

One last, and promised, I model something else :p

Yes it's possible. I have several picturess with this setup.

and the pilot/cockpit looks a bit dark/undetailed

I prefer to let it like this for now and work on my next picture :err: and maybe come back with a new eye later.
I don't know on how it has to be ... it has good textures ... maybe add an illumination map for the switch and instruments ?

Not quite sure if I understand the title I was expecting a looping...

:err: :err: :err: I had absolutly no idea about the title  . Feel free to edit it, I can't

Finaly i did it on the "primer color scheme" (http://www.military-meshes.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=1126&d=1157207131) and it is better like this

man, love it. I will order a print of it in poster size and hang it in the 313 sqn crewroom! :)

[EDIT] Can you render it larger, im afraid if i order it in poster format it will come out pixelated

great stuff.... i'm not too sure about desaturating the markings.... tiger meet planes are usually freshly painted and are supposed to be bright...

Nice Dutch machine! :D

Now here's a challenge for you... perhaps show J-063 firing an AMRAAM at night, with which it scored a long range kill against a Serbian MiG-29 durng the Kosovo conflict (24 March 1999).

J-063 was one of the machines undergoing the MLU modification when I was doing a short traineeship with the Dutch air force at the MLU modification centre.

You were at Woensdrecht? Are you in aircraft maintenance?

Well, i see this plane almost every day. You are right, when it was just painted is was all fresh but now after 1-2 years it is just as badly painted as any other RNLAF F-16 out there.

(Nitpick mode) This plane was not painted for a tiger meet, but for the fiftieth anniversary of 313 Sqn.

You were at Woensdrecht? Are you in aircraft maintenance?Yea, I was in one of the offices of the main big hangar, where the F-16s were modified.
Best thing about the traineeship was the canteen. Bargain "broodjes kroket", wonderful! I gained 7 kgs there in a matter of weeks!
