Fantastic. I love the ripple effect from the exhaust, though I can't seem to see it on the clouds or sky.

so nice to see some of your older models re-rendered, this works really well from the third pilot's point of view

Great deep colours, quite arty.
Bit of blur on the heathaze would help, as it's a bit too speckly now.

I like this render too, I feel like I'm there.
I don't think you've quite nailed the aluminium finish as it looks a bit whiteish but having tried to do a aluminium aircraft myself...it aint easy.

Very nice point of view. Although I cannot really determine the position and attitude of my own aircraft it works great for me. It has a very surrealisic dreamy feeling... Perhaps I need just more sleep

Wonderfull, I'm imediately in there climbing hard with my flight.
If there's a weakness, its that now I'm there there's not much to see, beyond #2's missing heat haze.
I can see it 3 x 4 ft in acrylic, and it'd fly off the gallery wall.

Just an idea... how about a distant contrail, very high? A NATO spyplane...

That, would certainly add a little extra to the story.

beyond #2's missing heat haze.
Huh ? There is no condensation trail because that usually starts far behind the plane. There is certainly heat distortion.

Thats really what I meant, Kiwi. Just a little distortion behind the engine outlet.

nicely done...
Sooo lovely..... pure art :)
Hi Kiwi!
I love this plane and your image looks very good! But, I'am not sure if surfaces should be so "reflection" - ambient, blue colour is to strong for me. In fact most of MiG-15 and later was not in natural aluminium colour, but was covered by silver matt (or half-matt) paint.
And it is my only note. Composition, story - fantastic!
this works really well from the third pilot's point of view
Perhaps view is more distored by low quality glass made by USSR.
really nice render with picturesque taste:)
