What can I say? If it weren't for the number of aircraft related stuff on the header already I think you should be up there with them! (not that it's up to me)
:D
Seriously good work there Ugo!:salute:

These profiles are excellent. I like the use of the pilot, gives a bit of life to the profile and sense of scale.

Sorry to be critical, but these are not your best profiles. I really like your work but these aren't up to the same standards, I feel. Perhaps it's because I studied the Corsair a lot, but there are numerous problems. First of all the shape of the Corsair is not accurate. Which drawings did you use as a basis? There are many bad Corsair drawings around. The nose of your Corsair isn't accurate at all and the whole shape looks too short. But to be honest, the problems are all-over.
Then the colours. The American Corsair's colours are much too "happy" and oversaturated. The colour of the star&bar is too purple and saturated too. It should be a very dark blue with relatively low saturation.
The French navy Corsair has strange colours as well. The wing looks OK but the fuselage looks purple! Also it's clearly visible that you painted out the exhausts of the -1D model. Worse, it's lacking the chin air intake of the -7 model!
Here is a comparisson with Rikyu Watanabe's accurate sideview drawing for the F4U-7, which clearly shows how far off the shape of your profile is. It was very difficult to make the overlay, as none of the areas matched up properly.
Again, I'm sorry to be so harsh, but I hope my comments are justified and of interest to you.

Thanks Skyraider! I'll take care of the linedrawings and version differences. I am not use to work on WW2 planes so this makes me too difficult in catching up details and differences!
Thanks (and sorry for 100pxl extra work!)
Ugo
