Careful with those colorised photos though.Yes best ignore those. It was the film reel stills that blew me away. Never seen anything quite like it.
The oldest colour film (as in animated film rather than photos) I've seen was from a 1918 WW1 victory celebration, which must be ultra-ultra-ultra rare :) But colour film from the late 1930s is exceptional indeed - especially at this quality.
