Fantastic modelling sir! Well deserved header!

Presumably you've got things like the dials and seat cushions to go in yet - can't wait to see them!

very nice. I can imagine those vents in the hood would have been fun to model :D Makes me want to finish my Kubelwagen.

You don't bother about making it detailed do you, you just model it they it looked, easy :)
Fantastic model, nice and clean and correct. Love it!

Lukem

Superb! As a matter of interest, how did you model the vents?

One other thing regarding the vents - are you going to be modelling the engine?

kliment
10-28-2006, 9:58 AM
Lukem- Everything I made my own hands in poly:) .....engine..hmm...I don't know, I will think about it.

Lukem

The only reason I asked about the engine is because looking from the rear, you can see that the engine bay is empty.

Go on, you know you want to build it!

kliment, the detail is insane! Solid looking model.
Will it be textured or is the final look going to be the shaded render you have there?

Lukem- Three weeks :)

Very accurate estimate!

I don't know the vehicle that well, but it looks close to complete now. What have you got left to model?

Dear Kliment,
when searching for the Taowan 1/6 model of the Horch I came across your superb modelling and rendering. BRAVO!!!
Much better than any actual plastic or metal model available.
Do you think it is possible to use your files for 3d printing? If so, I would be interested in buying a 3d printed model of your Horch.
We have a very professional local company that can do it: www.shapeways.com
If you are interested in making 3d projects of German military railways, just let me know. I have many factory drawings of railguns, V2 train, Flak and radar trains etc.
thanks for considering my proposal.

kind regards,

marcello-I fear that the model would require many alterations due to the mismatch between the 3D printing in its present form. As far as I know the model must be constructed of solid closed.

At the moment I finished work on it at this stage, in the near future I do not think I can return to it :
