Hey ya'll I'm new here. I have a question:

I was wondering if anyone has any links to websites that contain free military characters for 3D Studio Max? I have done a search and found some websites but they are charging at least a $100.00 for models and although these models look awesome, I was planning on using these models in a nonprofit short film so I don't want to anything. The models will be composited onto live action footage.

Yes I could go and create these models myself and I have experimented with modeling characters, but I do not have the patience and my main area is creating visual effects. So if anyone knows any links and stuff that would be cool.

Hi and welcome. I have seen a gallery once, many years ago, of military Poser characters - free downloads. American soldiers, German officers, that kind of stuff. I wouldn't for the life of me remember the link though. But maybe someone else does?
