Hallo my friends...

I'm back ;)... sorry for such a long time without any wip or finished model.

So it's better to just post first steps, and stop talking ;P...

Nice detail work, I just started one as well. What program are you using ??

Just looking at your grille, are you doing the Hotchkiss version ?
If it's a Willy's or Ford production model, I think you have to much threads in your tire??

nice! very great texturing. Allthough I believe the running surface of the tire could do with a little less specular :) since it roughens up from driving

Texturing is excellent so far malefatal. Really nice to see a military vehicle get past the modelling stage into textures.

Surface of tyres do look almost metallic at the moment and do need to be rubberised at some later stage.

Clean model you have there malefatal. Textures are spot on too!
Nice headlights. Was it a texture map, shader or a actual light source coming from inside?

I agree on the tires, lower the specularity a tad.

Thanks for comments and advices. Well I agree that tires should be less specular, so i will change map for it :)...

Headlights are simple, whole lamp is modeled, and there is also one light inside.

In this week i will post something more, this time i will get tablet, so it will be easier to paint textures :)...

Project is quiet big, I will make a scene for it and at the and i will do some fly around animation with this. Before Christmas i will post finished project :)

Looks very good, my only crit at the moment that hasn't been stated is that the white markings are too clean. Look forward to seeing more!

Cheers... I did get confused about some part, and last days I just finally solved it ;P... It's just 2 years of thinking, not so bad...

Anyway I am still alive and I am back to this model:

Beautiful modeling of a great car. The various details, such as the cable, chains, and bolts, are a treat for the eyes.
