Very nice! allthough the shadows are a bit off. You sun is from above and the sun in the picture is much lower. look at the trees:)

But due to the length and the composition it gives a nice sence of heigth somehow ^_^

yeah, the sun angle is a little off.
but it didn't seem to bother me too much.

also did a bunch of profiles for this book.
that I thought came out pretty well.

Really nice piece mark, the planes are really mixing it up.
Background seems very desaturated or overbright. I think maybe it could of done with a bit more vibrancy of color but great composition and the profile looks superb.

I spotted this on your website the other day! Nice action packed image! Great work Mark! :)

Will you continue to use MicroStation for your work or are you gonna "upgrade" having now worked with more dedicated programs in NZ (I assume)?

Mark, you are the master of ww1! I was wondering what it is that draws you to that era?

I know, that I'am late, but have to write this. How can I miss this thread? I'am a biplane's lover and have to say, that Mark is really master of this theme. Sad, that his works are so rare here.

Great!

thanks for resurecting this thread.
I had forgotten about it myself.

and I am also sad that I have not been able to contribute more here.
my "personal work" has taken a back seat to some other projects.
and I have not been able to devote much time to it.
and it does bother me.
but, I'll be back.

thanks to all for the comments
