Hi,

Just installed 3DS max 8.

At the moment that I create a simple box, sphere or whatever... it shows all edges in the viewports. Never had this with previous versions of this program.

I have no idea how to hide the edges. Anybody with same problem or solution for this? Right now "I don't feel at home" in my new MAX8...

Press F3, toggles the edge display. Or RMB in the viewport label and uncheck edged faces.

edit: Not sure, but if you are talking about triangles, disable them in the viewport driver settings(uncheck Show triangle strips)

indeed, the triangular settings are set in preferences->vidcard settings

otherwise, press F4 to toggle highlight edges
F3 toggles wireframe view, not highlighted edges :)

You guys were right I was talking about the triangles, not edges....
..... and I fixed it in the vid-card settings. :)

Many thanks!!!

Completely different keyboard layout here, I sometimes forget about this.
