I haven't yet completed a plane... so there's not much point digging out images of incomplete ones. My first proper attempt at a 3D model though was an F1 car. I built it using booleans. Just booleans. Thankfully, I don't have any images of that one anymore!

Still working on my first plane. Spent 3 days surveying the Heinoen HK-1 in Helsinki(sorry its not military). This is the results so far of the photogramatic survey program which I am using to gather the main 3D data. Final model will be in Solidworks. Both shots are WIP's.

Here's my very first plane, too. Just started on it a few weeks ago and I think I'm in the ballpark on the basic shape. Unfortunately, I haven't found very many references available of the Sanger Amerika bomber aside from the few concept drawings at Luft46... I may have to use a little artistic license with the details and textures.

This is my first attempt done in 3dmax4 and also both first and last finished model model in max. There has been another finished model which I did in SolidWorks as a part of a team project, but it was a different kind of work.
Hopefully, this forum will give me enough inspiration to finish something new.

A J8 Finback(hopefully I correctly identified) waaayyy back in 1999 with Max. Some of you may recognize the number. I know it is completely inaccurate, but I didn't get much reference to work from and it was a super rush job(just a few days). Ended up being an abandoned project. It was a good learning experience. It reminds me a little of the F4 Phantom
