Anybody ever model the Montana class BB? (The Super BB that was going be bigger and badder then the Iowa's) I'm looking for a good model of it however the main differance from the WW II specs Id like it to have 80's era refits I.E. Tomahawk cells and C.I.W.S. mounts
Also
I wana re-launch my New World Empires Story so Id like to have a modeler or 2 on board and people with political and military knowledge.

What was really cool was the German Schlactshiffe H-44. It was never actually meant to be built, but was more meant to be a design to see how much armor a ship would need to be resistant to aerial attacks. It was 1,080 something feet long 157 feet in width, and weighed like 120,000 tons.
But the Montana was a pretty spiffy design. However, I'm more of an Aircaft-carrier buff than a Fast-Battleship buff

talking about h44 its next on my modeling list ;)
but back on topic
montana's also planned but in the distant future though you would have too wait a while for my model :\
Big problem with H44 was that she still would not have had any real offensive power against aircraft - even the french battleships managed that!
Re: Montana - try getting hold of the Gzarke / someone else book on American battleships in world war 2. That should have drawings on it - won't be cheap though.
