I decided to do an opponent for my B29, and choosed the Shiden Kai, as I guess it was one of the few japanes fighters that could reach it's altitude long enough to do any kind of resistance(Ki45 too perhaps?) in addition to that I think the Shiden Kai is a great looking plane Building it reminds me a lot of when I did the Fw190A series..
Now texturing will be a different matter as from what I can understand, japanese war paint wasn't of very high quality and weathered quickly, so I'm really looking forward to start chipping paint
So here what my model looks like at the moment:
Because it very likely is, Germany and Japan were most probably sharing designs and the Japanese also saw the performance of the P-47.
It has the bathtub kind of hull of the P-47 and the big scale, while also having lines and design hints from the FW-190.
