It's always good to revisit old models when you've learned a ton of new techniques and efficiencies. Thing is, you started those earlier models because you REALLY liked the subject matter most likely and nothing is more disheartening than it gathering dust on your harddrive.

Also, make sure your paint chipping is not blurry, paint is either on or off if it happens due to environmental causes/airframe stress. Blurry paint chipping through friction/rubbing is something you'd pretty much only expect where humans interact with the object. Which isn't really the side of the ...

Because it very likely is, Germany and Japan were most probably sharing designs and the Japanese also saw the performance of the P-47.
It has the bathtub kind of hull of the P-47 and the big scale, while also having lines and design hints from the FW-190.
